The night smiles with its thousand razor blade sharp fangs as it feeds on a virgin’s blood

It seeps its darkness into the emptiness that fills the little part of what we call a heart

When the wind speaks softly to your skin and its killer breath drives to an emotion flood

The stars linger on your pale dead skin, a touch of darkness in a little pitch of light

The wolves call out for the unwanted souls the lost and the damned

The voices and the whispers echo at night in the dead land

You can’t help but hope you didn’t leave home to venture into the unknown

Into the damp darkness for those who carve their own headstone

The devil in  a dark cloak comes flying over the tombstones and descends with full force

It speaks about what Life , money lust, happiness and power lacking desperation or remorse

The scent of shady velvet mixed with dark blood is breath-taking merged with the dark musk

And the aroma remains lingering seductively with the air molecules till the dusk

In a lunatic asylum the scent of death aint revolting, in fact fundamental

For those who have lived too long in the dark, it is essential

The stars fade with life as the cycle ends and the pulse dies

As the body lies to itself and the light darkens and fades

All smiles turn to frowns on a night like this and

The devils will rise to take in the pained hand in hand

When the dark prince kissed her she was far away from here,

She was unable to retreat for the dark she did not fear

She was beyond what could be saved

For long enough in darkness she has laid

Beautifully twisted imagery. In the end there will be peace, the devil is only a creation of the fearful. Lose the fear and gain the faith that life is short only in this aspect, everlasting in what we have yet to discover. The answer is out there for those who wish to seek it. And I am not talking about some Middle Eastern brand of theology. No offence intended to Christians, Muslims, or Jews.
