Divine, into Words
Divine into Words
By Tony DeLorger © 2014
What falls onto the page,
is but a scraping of my intent,
an awkward and meager attempt,
to portray a world filled with beauty,
an existence brimming with its own unfolding,
in replicating the essence of life,
that spark of divine provenance,
that omniscient intention.
I strive to master this art,
to exact my will and expound this miracle,
and in it, I know there is no attainment,
no possibility for mere words to emulate the divine,
but I shall, with all my heart, endeavor,
to unveil the shadows of misdirection,
and reveal what this heart can see,
in this, the gift from the architect of possibility.
I seek the inner secrets of my shell,
this vessel of humanity,
to discover all that is possible,
and my words gather like an attentive crowd,
to witness this segregation from the mundane,
this relenting of the base, the innate,
and the ascendancy of higher though in life,
to find expression in this earthly experience.
For I believe that through expression,
through the delving into secrets,
we may discover our own purpose,
and once found, this expression, no matter in what form,
is blessed and sacred,
and carries with it a fragment of divinity,
and all who see it are transformed, within light.
