EASTER = Victory over the Grave. Do You BELIEVE In The Morning? Poem, thoughts, and HereComesTheSun by George Harrison!

Following this introduction is a poem I wrote that is meant to be like what God may say to your heart, through His Spirit, in a still, small voice, to hearken and ponder. It is ONLY through the Holy Ghost that people may KNOW that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and is the Holy Messiah, the Redeemer of the faithful.

The ATONEMENT of Jesus Christ is an absolute necessity to the Plan of Salvation for man; it is a Sacred Work, and its central premise is the PROMISE of Eternal Life, veritably demonstrated by the bonafide resurrection of the Son of God, who died on the cross for man's (offered and contractual) REDEMPTION.

EASTER celebrates this promise; there is nothing that can match it. It is the culmination of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, for the eternal welfare of man.

Here Comes the Sun, with George Harrison

George Harrison quote

Upon the death of George Harrison, formerly of the Beatles, his family issued a statement, “He left this world as he lived in it, CONSCIOUS of GOD, FEARLESS of DEATH, and AT PEACE, surrounded by family and friends.

He often said, “Everything else can wait, but THE SEARCH FOR GOD CANNOT WAIT, and love one another”

EASTER is the culmination of the Atonement of Christ

The truth of this magnificent, wonderful, and awesome event (which is prophesy fulfilled) was TANGIBLY and PERSONALLY PROVEN by the (soon to be and then indeed - see John chapter 20) glorified Saviour Himself. It was also WITNESSED by a large number of real people, and was scrupulously RECORDED by the venerable Saints and chosen Apostles of Jesus Christ. It is also the TESTIMONY of countless souls, both past and present.

If we desire and resolve to hearken unto, and consider with a sober attention, the Spirit of God, which gives every person a true witness, make much earnest humble prayer and supplication unto the Father Most High, in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for HIS verification of the truth of the witness we have received (from a source we have determined through trial (see 1 John 4:1) to be a GOOD SPIRIT), then we WILL receive our OWN testimony that Jesus Christ is the Living Son of God and the Promised Messiah.

This WILL happen if we individually and personally have the preliminary desire and patience to diligently seek-out the truth, then recognize, welcome, and accept our PRIVATE HEART’S profound divine soundings of a Holy Witness from God, our Eternal Father. What a blessing! This is available to anyone and everyone through the Grace of God.

The blessings bestowed through the sublime landmark event of EASTER MORNING and the RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST are principle signs that these things have surely come to pass, as per the Plan of Salvation. Praise be to God, and Joy forevermore!

1st John 4: 1-3 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but TRY the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (2) Hereby KNOW ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: (3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

I offer my personal testimony and assure people who have received and accepted their own divine witness that because of the true EASTER events, we need not grieve at length because of the follies and errors of our past if we repent and follow Jesus, to do His will, which is our work and obligation, under Him, for His glory. I caringly urge every soul to pray for the desire, even for an INCREASE in DESIRE and FAITH to Hope each for your own witness of truth, then when it comes, to believe it with A FIRM CONVICTION, and then to circumspectly adjust life to act on it with a joyful countenance and genuine grateful heart.

The Book of Mormon record of Alma 32: 26-29 “Now, as I said concerning faith—that it was not a perfect knowledge—even so it is with my words. Ye cannot know of their surety at first, unto perfection, any more than faith is a perfect knowledge.(27) But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than DESIRE to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words. (28) Now, we will compare the word unto a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves—It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me. (29) Now behold, would not this increase your faith? I say unto you, Yea; nevertheless it hath not grown up to a perfect knowledge.”

1st John 5: 5 - 10 “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (6) This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the SPIRIT that beareth WITNESS, because THE SPIRIT IS TRUTH.(7) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (8) And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. (9) If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. (10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the RECORD that God gave of his Son.”

John 2:22 “When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.”

1 Thessalonians 4:14 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”

Peace and good tidings.

Do you believe in the morning

With the sounds of yesterday in your heart?

Do you believe in the sunshine

When all the clouds don’t seem to part?

Remember, Oh remember I love you,

And I long for your embrace

Believe me child I Live for you,

And in my heart Dear, you have a place.

And in the stormy nights of weather,

I still see you, yea - always!

So I hope you will remember

In December, that special day …

Do you believe in the morning

When you struggle with the past?

Do you believe in the sunshine

When your life gets way too fast?

Do you believe in the springtime

When the winter seems to stay?

And, do you believe in Easter

With My Father’s promise of the day?

Note: "An Apostle's Easter Thoughts on Christ" (video below) is a condensed version of the 2009 General Conference complete talk by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This conference talk which he bore is entitled "None Were With Him". It is an extremely profound and compelling writ and testament of our Saviour's Atoning sacrifice. Well worth the read, the FULL record and transcript (with references) can be found at: http://lds.org/conference/talk/display/0,5232,23-1-1032-27,00.html
