Poem: Drive Your Inner Pilot – Dedicated to a humble poet, Hari Prasad S (shprd74)

O’ Bird of Flame, O’ Wings of Fire,

Soar high! Soar high!

Kiss the empyreal sky,

Pierce the veil of Golden sun,

For thy internal rainbow has yet to come.

O’ Bird of Flame, O’ Wings of Fire,

Soar high! Soar high!

Transform thyself into a firefly,

When darkness surrounds

And vision blurs.

O’ Bird of Flame, O’ Wings of Fire,

Soar high! Soar high!

Imbibe like a butterfly,

The Divine nectar of a matchless bloom

That’s rich, vivid, pure and pious.

No… No… No!

Go not to the garden of flowers,

For in your Heart rests a supernal pageantry.

Let your inner Pilot drive

Through copious petals of the lotus,

And there shall you touch

The Infinite beauty!

Beautiful raga and aalaap. Loved it. Reminded me of waking up and listening to vivdh bharati radio at 5am. :-) during my growing days.

Jodah,

You make me blush. Thank you for your continued love and support, my dear friend. Sincerest thanks. God bless your kind heart!

Venkatachari ji,

My pranaams to you for dropping by. Lots of Love. Hari Om!

Hari bhai,

Wow! I am so glad that you like it. Yes, the raga is sublime. Though I am not an ardent listener of Hindustani classical music, but still I love listening to ragas. I meditate to this, bro. Very peaceful, very. Lots of love, bhaiya :)

Devika,

Glad to see you here. I thank you for dropping by. Pleasure to know you. Much peace.

Al,

What else shall I say? You understand the depths of my understanding, my friend… you really do. Thank you very much. God bless.

Swalia,

Thank you, Shaloo. I appreciate your visit here. Hare Krishna!

Manatita,

How sweet… how sweet…! You are always encouraging. Yes, the music is by Pandit Madhup Mudgal. I listen to him quite often. I can peacefully meditate listening to his voice playing at the back. It is as if millions of angels are dancing in the Heart while listening to his Raag. He sings Kabir songs with such a dedication and devotion that I can close my eyes and simply relax… and just relax… forgetting the world outside… and just being with me… my Soul. I love that very moment of solitude. Much thanks… much...
