Drops of Crimson

Source

Fearless

Behold how it flows

From your brow to your toes

Each as a tear

You shed with no fear

Exhausted

Exhausted and spent

Your bidding is done

A soul You have purchased

My heart now undone

Loving

Red drops of a stream

Warmth remains

I fall to my knees

Touching as it stains

Rich

A well never dry

Your blood abundant in supply

Through my veins

Your precious drops flow

Crimson is my heart

In new life it does show

Blood is life without it we cannot survive on earth. His blood keeps us alive, without we we have no eternity. Thank you for reading, your comment and believing!

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins, great hub to the rich red blood that washed my sins away and speaks forever at the mercy seat on my behalf, I do not take for granted the sacrifice or the Savior. Thank you for such an inspirational hub.

Winsome,

Thank you for your comments. Total unity and light through the Spirit is truly a gift.

As far as the vampires...hell is there is a designated place for eternity. But there is hope if they turn from their ways. What a shame the influence and recognition they recieve! Although satan is defeated he is making sure he does not go down alone.

Thanks for your visit. Have a blessed day:)

Thanks for your unafraid tribute to the blood of Jesus. The Heidelburg catechism as quoted by Andrew Murray answers the tough question: " What is it then to eat the crucified body of Christ and to drink His shed blood? " The answer is, " It is not only to embrace with a believing heart all the sufferings and death of Christ, and thereby to receive pardon of sin and eternal life; but, also, besides that, to become more and more united to His sacred body, by the Holy Spirit who dwells at once both in Christ and in us ; so that we, though Christ is in heaven and we on earth, are, notwithstanding, flesh of His flesh, and bone of His bones ; and we live and are governed for ever by one Spirit."

It is interesting to me the fascination of the new vampire novels and movies that have at their heart the drinking of another's blood and the somehow passing on of eternal life. The amazing thing is that such a thing can happen in reality. Those who symbolically take in the blood of Jesus can live forever. (And they don't even have to spend the day in a casket.) =:)
