Duck Buzz Haiku
I often walk along the River Thames in England, especially in the countryside. There are one hundred and eighty four miles of fascinating river paths, always a delight.
Recently, at Hambledon Lock near Henley-Upon-Thames, I came across these ducks, heads down, water spraying over them as they ate whatever it was growing underneath the surface. This is the haiku that emerged.
facing the current
head down getting a duck buzz
a nice way to eat
