Dusted Off My Old Banjo
July 28 Thursday
It was a task but I managed to stretch my muscles to pull my banjo out of the closet. I have , and image in my mind of mastering the banjo, and harmonica. I have the neck thing to hold my harmonica so that my hands can be free to play the guitar , or banjo.
I like my harmonicas. When I can not seem to crawl out of bed, I grab a harmonica ,and play one. I like my Big River harmonica. I like the Blues ones too. I like the Echo ones, Blues Band ones, and even the Jam bone ones. My Hoodoo Blues Harmonicas are fun. When I am dead beat, and can barely move a muscle, I like the Hoodoo Blues.
I have a banjo ,and guitar instrument which is not so hot. I do like my old trusty Conrad Banjo. I found it a few years back in a pawn shop. It is a cool old banjo.
Yes I am still working on my song. Seems like I will never finish it. I want perfect words.
I am thinking about recording some of my instrumental stuff, and putting it on a cassette.
I cleaned up Becky's motorized wheelchair. I got some dish soap, and mixed it with water , and carefully wiped every inch of her chair. I also want to repair her seat. The cats have clawed it up. I need to figure out a way to keep the cats off of her seat. I bought some nice leather like material a few months ago to cover her seat, and our recliner.
Yesterday I cooked some creamed potatoes. All I had to do was to microwave some potatoes, peel them, add margarine , or butter , a little milk , and mix them together. Joann , and Becky ate it with some brown gravy, chicken, and corn.
It got really hot yesterday, about 100 degrees. Naturally we did not go outside. Naturally we have air-conditioning , or we would get cooked in our house trailer. We have a house trailer. I am not ashamed of it even though it needs repairs. I have made a lot of repairs on it. I bought it new years ago.
I would eventually like to buy Joann a house. We could move in mom's old house next door to us. It is empty. Mom and Dad or in Heaven.
Actually I would like to move Joann ,and Becky in mom and dad's old house. I did some work on the house, some carpenter work many years ago. Mom wanted Becky to live in the house. A tropical storm knocked a small tree on some electric lines, and messed up the breaker box. That messed us up.
The grass is high by the trailer. I can see it from our window. I need the Jolly Green Giant to come , and give me a hand with my work.
When it becomes cooler I will be going outside more often . I wish the fall weather will get here soon .
In the meantime I will try to find things to fix in our home .
God Bless Everyone.
