Wicky-dee, wicky-dee

Dance they will~

All for fun~

In the spring sun!

Dancing in the Easter Jubilee!

Here she comes the wee one~

In the parade~

A feathered bonnet on her brown curly locks~

Bunnies following her every where~

One bunny rides on her shoulder there!

The lightest of pinks her dress~

With a matching satin ribbon under her breast~

White frills upon it at wrist and neck.

Lilies surround her as she glides~

Yellow nectar they hold inside~

She glimpses at the tan bunny~

Taking his celebratory ride! ~

Wicky-dee, Wicky-dee!

She holds the golden straw basket~

By her side~

Hay fills the bottom~

To show off the treasures~

Of the festivities~

Painted colored eggs shown with pride!

Here comes the tiniest of maidens~

You will ever see~

Skipping down the golden path a-glow~

With multi colored chicks in-tow.

The blonde haired sweetie~

Has her white bonnet ribbons left untied~

She glances at the crowd~

Her smile she tries to hide.

A checkered apron covers~

Her rose colored laced dress~

An apple she carries to~

Show off to the crowd~

One of her fruit trees born best.

As she prances past the~

Pealing picket fence~

Daisies she carries in her hand~

Catches all the judge’s eyes~

From the grand stand!

Sammy boy marches now~

Without a care~

A striped beanie cap covers most~

Of his coiled black hair.

He wheels a miniature red cart~

Filled with yellow peeping baby ducks. ~

They round the bend~

With his smart smile showing bright as can be~

From the contrast of his skin an ebony.

Dapper with his blue print shirt~

And matching pants~

He lets go of the cart in hand~

Than slowly he pulls up a silver bucket in front~

Of the judges stand~

Than he stops and grins a rascally smirk~

Pulling out his prized frog at~

Some’s chagrin and other’s mirth!

Oh Sammy! ~

You cute little mischievous rascal~

An award for your deeds~

Now can not be possible!

To end the parade~

Before starts the festivities! ~

The Queen of Easter rides in~

A decked out boat~

A maiden most fair~

To start the Jubilee!

Wicky-dee, wicky-dee!

The boat is light blue~

Filled with pink cushions~

Draped with a shear pallid curtain~

Tied at the top with a glossy silk pink bow~

The Queen of Easter waves daintily~

At the crowd.

Wicky-dee, wicky-dee!

She is adorned with yellow on her gown~

Pink lace and ribbons from head to toe~

As her red, red hair hangs frilly down.

The judges now in there place~

Stand in ovation~

With applause they honor her~

“Her Grace”!

The decorated church field~

Where food is abundant~

For the occasion has yield.

Wicky-dee wicky-dee

They sing~

Easter is here! ~

Wicky-dee wicky-dee

Let us be of good cheer!

In the spring sun~

Everyone in their best clothes~

Merry and gay~

Dance for fun! ~

Through the night also they will~

Dance in fun~

While children will sleep tired from play~

As their day is done.

Here comes the prize~

The judges had made~

It goes to the bunny gal~

Now in her mothers lap~

Fast asleep she lays.
