Enchanted Springtime ( a poem of inspiration)
A magical time...always warm and clear,
Springtime comes each time of the year,
Butterflies flutter over flowers, all divine,
Grapes now to bud, on every new vine.
Birds fly about, building nests, and to sing,
Exalting Spring's cheer, each day to bring,
Telling that a new day of discovery is here.
A fond time of happiness, and heartfelt cheer.
Down at the marsh, joyful bull frogs do sing,
Telling of the new coming, their voices to ring.
A Whippoorwill calls in a warm evening breeze,
As Dandelions chutes, flutter high as the trees.
The cold Winter has gone. a new season arrived,
As hiding insects emerge, so many have survived.
Furry critters pop out, having escaped frigid snows,
Daisies and other wildflowers, twirl about in long rows.
"Wake up", the Spring maiden sings, dressed in fine array,
"Time to get out in the sunshine, to dance and to play".
"Pay no mind to the stormy weather, for it will soon to clear",
Springtime's music is now playing, in a melody, so dear".
