End of an Age

As of last night I finished this book. I started reading it a few weeks ago and left it on the kitchen table while I was at work. My 13 year old son picked it up and started reading it. So I had to wait until he was done before I could finish it. I figured since he had more time on his hands than I did it would make more sense to let him have it.

I really liked this book. Keeping in mind that it is only a story, but also a possibility that some events could turn out true or close to reality made this story even more interesting.

What was really a shocker was that I noticed one of the events in this book actually have already started to happen. The event of the failing of the banking system. I heard over a Christian radio station just a few weeks ago that the European banking system has been halted. They can't borrow or lend money to anyone. Now of course in this book everything is more intense and exaggerated, but there are other similarities to the strange events that have been taking place recently.

What I also liked about this book was that Pat Robertson backed up the events with scripture, but in a story like way. You don't feel like you're getting preached at, at all. I like stories that have a sense of truth and can be backed up with facts. I even found myself looking up the scriptures mentioned and studying them in more depth.

This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's is full of action from the very beginning. Pat Robertson really knows how to write a book. Heck, it even caught the interest of my thirteen year old. That should say it all right there. This is one of those books that you carry with you everywhere just in case you get a few moments to read a few more pages.

I will definitely be purchasing and reading more of Pat's books

Now, when you read this book, just keep in mind that NO ONE knows exactly how and when it will happen, but if you know what the signs are, you'll recognize them when they happen. Also, keep in mind the Bible promises a happy ending so don't get scared.

Getting this book on kindle

Don't forget with Amazon you can also download books onto your Kindle which is AWESOME!

Yes, I do. I have a BIG dislike with that as well. It gives a negative image to the non-believers. Or at least a twisted point of view.

I have no problem with the Bible, just the people who quote and don't do, you know what I mean ;).

I completely understand. I by no means claim to completely believe in the hundreds of thousand prophesies that are flooding the internet and books to date (other than the Bible,) however, I do think its wise to have the information in my head so as when things are happening it will trigger a remembrance. Keeping a watchful eye for the signs.

I am always captivated by the seers of total destruction. I even enjoy Pat a lot, though I know there seems to be a few times where he is completely and utterly wrong. We don't face the end of the world so much as we face the end of the country. Our politicians are the complete and total warthogs of wealthy lobbyists and corporate captains. They do absolutely NOTHING on the behalf of their citizenry, other than in a phony show-and-tell game. They have no law, (regulations), and when they are put in place, they are removed in secret. This has been a conservative effort to remove any reforms that made advances for the AVERAGE American. In the process, they have all but bankrupted the country, the people and the government and left us well exposed. This has been unfolding since Nixon. There's no prophecy. No seers, Nothing in the Bible. For anyone who has done their homework, this has been obvious for some time.

Please consider reading the book Earth Sink ISBN 9780976800439, as well. Very pertinent to the last days. It hits almost every major issue.

I gave this book to my boss the other day. She came back the next day saying she can't put it down.

Yes, I agree sometimes it's hard to tell the truth from fiction. More investigating may be required. Of course the government won't tell you everything. It doesn't matter to them if it is true or false, it's what they want you to believe.
