Even In Rainy Weather

We All Have To Start Somewhere

On again off again

My ideas seem to flow like the tide

They come in and if I don't act on them they soon leave

I am so excited to see the wave break and roll in like thunder

Then as quick as they came they just slip away under my feet

I look around to find someone to share my happiness

Mostly I am on my own

When I do find someone

They are busy following their own wave and are having trouble catching their wave

Then their are many other people who never try

They come and go and watch and have no desire or will power

So as I sit and look around at all the grains of sand

So fine

They look all the same

But without many of them we would not have the beautiful beaches

To watch the water display it's beauty

So I lay their still and soak up the sun

Another day that my effort may go unnoticed

But I know I have been here

As my foot prints once prominent and bold

Are washed away as well

We live for the experience and the meaning

Not always the result that is hidden deep beneath the washed up sea weed

I will return many times trying to change and bring about a new desired outcome

One that may only be visible in my mind

To me it is as strong as the sun

That heats all things that are willing or not

There are times that the sun is even at rest

Then we wonder if it is the end

It is my belief that it will come back soon

Then when I am not sure and have doubt

The sun is back shining brighter than ever

Reassuring and tapping into my mighty core

With one more smile and the grace of God

Who could ask for more

Voted up and awesome. Have had some thunderstorms over the past few days and when the sun comes out everything looks shiny and new. God bless.

Gypsy Rose Lee I love seeing the sun come out after it has rained. The day changes so fast you would never imagined it being the way it was. Thank you for commenting and sharing.
