Everything Eventually recedes; Everything Eventually Blossoms. A Sonnet, By Manatita
The tide rises, and then gradually diminishes in intensity.
Like a river, the sea recedes,
Only to gain momentum for a greater mass.
Leaves drop from their foliage
And return to their natural roots.
Even a heart of greed will one day blossom,
Into a sea of love. Everything eventually subsides;
Everything eventually blossoms.
In quest of its own self-transcendence,
The Cosmic Will commands the night to fade,
And guides the Light through shadows.
Everything eventually subsides; again,
Everything eventually blossoms.
