Everything you ever wanted to know about eternity.......

One just one small step for man ....one giant
step for............ eternity
One micro second in eternity
are all the hardships of life
Go ahead ........ add them up
plus seven and multiply
by ten
One hour ........
Each loss that we suffer in life perhaps
in transformation to happiness ....awaits our arrival elsewhere
Each hardship that lasts a lifetime
a reward for passing
And each passing
of a moment .........or one hour of living
where we ponder
"could I have done something to change "
matters not
For in eternity
there is no recording
of time
There is only everything
and everyone
that awaits us

I know there are some who dis-believe in living a good life , in God or even in eternity......... and my answer ........Believe ! ....... and .just wait and see.

PERFECT! Believe...what do you have to lose...We believe that our car will get us to our destinations, we believe a chair will hold us up...we believe so many things..We believe gravity will hold our feet to the earth..why not believe? Great point!I love this so much! Thank you!

Ahorseback,

This flash in the pan we call life can be overwhelming, and the noise around us sometimes drowns out our ability to hear God. That's when I know I have been away from God's word to long.

Very beautifully written and a lot to think about. My Pastor told me years ago, that the only difference between those that believe and those that don't is hope. Voting up and awesome.

".....just wait and see." This is the truly valid choice in it. - Whether or not one believes, knowing must wait and seeing will simply be seeing what IS.

I love this work, ahorseback. I can feel your sense of it.

Beautiful, "in heaven there is no recording of time". What a moment to look forward to! This would be worth the hope and prayers towards this goal. Thank you for sharing because it is so encouraging.

What a wonderful poem! Thank you for sharing this. I have not read poems since high school. Now that I am reading them on hubages, they mean so much more to me then they did in those days. Please keep writing them. Yours are wonderful.

Voted up and awesome! I walk with the Lord everyday and I know there is a whole other world beyond because I am very sensitive to it. I have seen and heard and I believe. God bless.

Brilliant as always my friend.

I know there are some who dis-believe in living a good life , in God or even in eternity, and my answer.

Believe ! and just wait and see.

So true, ahorseback(btw - got a handle that rolls a little easier? lol) Aaaanyway, we must do our best to meet eternity worn ragged and exhausted! I'll drink to that! Cheers! O, and voting, of course..

Do you know Ahorseback, there was a time in the not so far past when these words would have slid of my mind like water off a ducks (shags :) back. I would not have comprehended this enlightening message and would not have given it a second thought, just a fleeting "Oh yeah, what ever".

Now I believe what you say here with all my heart and soul. I believe and I know.

Your words offer hope and encouragement to many. My deepest respect is for you, my friend.

Dont know why you didn't get my post but...here goes. I thing

K you have it figured out, this eternity thing. On the lighter side of it, there better be a dang reason and reward for all the inconveniences of life! I love this write dad. That is the benefit of solitude and serenity it does seem to bring reason!

I like this poem and I like your encouraging challenge. Believe! There is nothing lost in believing, but there may be much to lose in not believing, not hoping, not...
