Enter Eveʻs garden

Under the mango treeʻs shade

YogaKat, According to your comment above, this is your first haiku! That is exciting: congratulations! It's an interesting touch of identifying the tree as mango, the fruit of which is so seductive in its juicy deliciousness and in its physical beauty.

Also, your painting is very interesting. When I first glimpsed it, I thought that the legs formed the trunk and the feet were branches. The shape works well for both. The shades of blue for ocean and sky are inspirational!

Beautifully created.

Appreciatively, Stessily

Stessily - your first glimpse was true. This painting is on a two by four piece of pine wood and the tree truck is actually the shadow of a woman doing a shoulder stand . . . lol . . .what do you expect from a "yogakat" like me? It is also most definitely a tree trunk. Your comments are always so thoughtful . . . thank you:)

Olde Cashmere thanks for sharing . . . wow, that is a huge compliment . . . thanks AudreyHowitt for chiming in and sharing. All sincere writing comes from the heart, but poetry and painting even more so, which is why your sincere comments and sharing are making my wonderful day.

Beautiful, striking painting. The bright colours are fitting. The Haiku is excellent, too. I love the ambiguity of the tree trunk and the 'Audacious spirit.'
