Exercising As You Get Older

I used to like things like jogging

I could do it with ease

Now i've got to watch

Because of my dodgy knees.

As you get older

You have to try and stay fit

I'll try and do half a sit up

At least the part where you sit.

There's always something new

An exercise regime you want to start

As long as it does

Some good for your heart.

Tried out running and swimming

Try to get something you like

I may well go down the road

Of the exercise bike.

A bad thing about the exercise bike

Is there is nothing for you to see

Unless you decide to

Turn on the TV.

If you are an athlete

Or if you just want to get fit or thin

You can do some exercise biking

Working out while staying in.

No couch potato

No time to wait

The only potatoes needed

Are the ones on your plate.
