FRIENDS ARE LIKE THE BUTTERFLY
Friends are like the butterfly~
Sprinkling its touch to the flowers~
As the dew hangs on to a grassy sprig~
It doth shine with timeless power.
No violet bunch goes without a special look~
Just like a friend a single flower~
Friendship is a rare find from any nook~
At any hour.
Friends are like the sunshine~
Radiating down its warmth~
As the clouds do dissipate~
In the blue, blue sky~
No rain can enter on a friendship~
Built with pure love from~
Him on high from above.
Friends are like the tiny chipmunks~
That playfully rassle and quickly hide~
As the stream flows endlessly~
It will never run dry.
No stones can block the path~
As yearning leads the search~
For when friendship is new~
The excitement is bright and true like birth.
Friends are like the bird songs~
Lifting spirits happy and gay~
As the evening enters~
There are still sounds that point the way.
No darkness can fold upon~
The format set that day~
A friend always says rest, relax and stay.
Friends are like the lilac bush with its sweet scent~
As the lavender lights the yard~
No friendship should be a regret~
No matter if it falls apart~
In Heaven it will be peacefully renewed~
Like from the fresh start it will be new!
Friends are like the woodpecker~
Knocking all the time~
As the squirrel is mischiefy upon the branch~
Upside down as its feet do grasp~
No one can deny the humor of a funny friend~
That cheers and rebuilds your health~
At its very best.
Friends are like the moon~
Silently sitting there~
As the stars listen to our wishes~
Friends can be compared.
No night is spent alone~
When friends are in our lives~
No day is boring when~
A friend is there to keep it right.
Friends are like the sparrow~
That keeps a secret home~
As friendship gets in the distance~
And time goes on~
No old friends are ever truly forgotten~
They are always in and a part~
Of our vessel the endless loving heart…
