Melting moments, tears released,
hearts bruised and raw from truth appeased,
self-inflicted, deluded dreams,
expectations dispelled in reams.
Love's sweet path becomes of stone,
jagged edges and falling prone,
sour thoughts and deep regrets,
vet our swollen egos met.
Towers tall of future forged,
now topples, broken fragments small,
shattered bliss and love remiss,
now burns the soul in torments kiss.
And blindness made from false hope's cause,
now tears apart and closes doors,
isolating a heart once free,
and in darkness rests our will to see.
Hurt and pain now wields its sword,
carving flesh in mind accord,
while loss now fills an empty space,
and darkness closes in cold embrace.
When love falls down and life is dry,
and angels mourn their tears to cry,
and all of life is hurting true,
when love is lost a soul reviews.
Of passing love a heart must know,
that love at end is worth the throws,
if only for a moment passed,
sweet love's a light for soul repast.
