Feeling A Different Color Blue

I am battling the demons from within

They are not seen but they make me cough and wheeze

I wonder how could they of come without me knowing

I must of let my guard down and they found an underground tunnel to dig their way through and let themself in

I will fight you with my every last breath

You come at me the strongest in the night when I am a sleep and resting

You come silently and don't show yourself until I wake

Then you take my voice away and I fight to get it back

I take the my special potion that will kick you in the behind

It makes me a bit weary but I can get twenty winks

This gives me more time to think

I have a plan to finish you for good

I feel the chills that you give me when you are near

I will not show you any fear

I may be slow getting up and bending over

You have attacked me and taken me off guard

I will return with reinforcements and I will scare the bejesus out of you

I want you to run not hide

That hide of yours I want to tan butt good

So you will think next time when you try to come back

I don't want to see you around any of my friends either

You have no good in my life and you should be shown your own gravestone

I am a fair man and will give you every chance to redeem yourself even though you have no good qualities

As you stop and think is this the life that you want to lead

Making people sick and causing them their greatest pain

You tell me this is the only life you know

I say it is time to change and I am showing you how

But my ancestors have all been colds and flu's and have been hated for centuries

I can't break the tradition

But what if they laugh at me for being so foolish ?

They tell me it can't be done and very soon I will come back with my head between my knees and then I will pay the price

Well kind of think of it, I did have a lot of sick days last year and I have to work extra hard on school vacations and all holidays

We work every day but we don't call it work here

 We call it play

We were confinced that this was the only life and not to listen to others

Well when do you rest

We get very little sleep and that makes us more cranky and miserable

So we can develop our best talents

What a waste

Here we sleep ever night and that is a must

A very few will try to challange that and when they do they end up paying the Piper

Now don't you feel better not sneaking around and scaring people

Hiding in dark hallways and hiding with germs you call your friends

But now I have know one

No now you have everyone you ever wanted

Friends just keep popping up

We have lots of play time

Lots of smiles to deliver

It is a hard job but we do make it fun

We sometimes have to pull a graveyard shift

Some people are so stubburn the only time they smile is in their sleep

But soon as we give them the love bug and they come around

I love bugs

I am good at bugging people and I have given people the bug for years

No it is a different kind of bug

I am confused

Don't worry Rome wasn't built in a day

What is Rome ?

You don't get out much do you ?

Well we plan on many vacations and love the sun and the beaches

I have never been to the beach since we were told the rain and the slush is where we do our best work

They told us the beach is just a lot of sand in between your toes

So what would do all day

I usually hide on kleenex and wait

Well those days are over and now you have to go mingle

What is mingle?

It is where you get to meet new friends and have a few laughs

Where do I do that ?

You reallly don't know anything do you ?

One day at a time and we will learn together

It is the best place to start and everyone helps everyone all the time
