Forever I Love You

It is true what some do say

Energy is not destroyed

It just changes its form

Something we can't avoid

Changes are part of life

We ride with the rise and fall

Yet we can know safely

We are still high above it all

On pretty days and nights

Highlights you so while calm

Let's cherish one another

While we sit still palm in palm

We are as we were made

We're thankful for this grace

We always have each other

Together in Time and Space

Time is an illusion

Yes, this rightly is as true

But that means we're forever

And Forever I Love You!

I'm a sucker for love poems and this is a good one. Well done and I'm glad I stopped by.

Great poem! I'm in love as well, and have been for the past 2 years.

Despite breaking up with the girl on bad terms and going months without talking to her, we still managed to get back in contact, move pass the past, and rekindle the flam between us. And now it seems our love is stronger than ever. Even though we were apart for so long, none of that time mattered once I could hold her in my arms again. The whole time-love analogy you used is very moving (and it is not "puppy love" that me and this girl have for each other so believe me when I say, I can fully recognize the depth in your words).

This is a really good hub, it really speaks to me, Great job!

Warm sentiments, beautifully expressed on this valentines day poetry. Well done. Loved it!

Billybuc and Docmo, thanks very much for your comments and compliments.

Saleeln18, thank you for your comment and I really appreciate your sharing of your experience and your insight into how that fit into the time-love analogy I used in the poem.

Sorry for the late acknowledgment Fennelseed, must have missed this one coming in. Been quite busy lately and haven't been able to check in here for some time.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts about my work.
