Four Letter Word poem

Four Letter Word

Four Letter Word

It is just a four letter word

Don’t get so worked up over it

There have been instances,

Death, sex, and dreams

Pick your favorite color

Mix it with another

Amazing that mix of potpourri paints

So many colors they get muddy to see through

Keep it special and vow it forever

Do we do that with something so special

Mother taught you to share

That’s a funny thought

You have to admit it

Such a sweet scent

So warm and creamy

It tastes better than any connoisseur dish

Served in such an enticing way on your lips

You have given everything

All he asks of you

Don’t ever fall out of Love with me

There is that four letter word

Served in a plate and sprinkled with sweets

Before you can even help it he dips in for a taste

It’s just a four letter word

Called Love he says

He smiled that dashing smile

You whisper back a four letter word
