Freedom from a Coma

Freedom

Freedom from a Coma

Invisible my heart, secured to yours

When it falters or stops

It brings you to tears

In all your fantasies

You always knew

That those chains

Were something you perused

Inside you

Inside my heart

Don’t falter dear

One skip of a beat

Brings me off my feet

Electrical shocks

Colors of white

Blue and Red circles

So much fright

Brought my hand to yours

Eyes opened wide

They say I was freed

Before I died

Freedom to love

Your tears washed away my fears

I am yours for many more years

Hello Miss B - This is such a gripping read and in perfect narrative form and all put together through the sheer genius of your poetry. I love how I could visualize the words and this journey in my head and that's what great writers always do. I would say the last three pieces I've read from you are the best that you've ever written. You are on a golden roll.

Please contact me when you can.

Good morning Miss B from lake erie time 7:49am as I am watching the sun rise over the lake with my last cup of coffee for the day.

Thank you for supplying me with the 'freedom' , friendship, support and your status as a most respected and esteemed colleague during my 'dark' days ..... without someone like you I couldn't have made it.

Sending you 3 big Canadian hugs from Colin, Tiffy and Gabriel

This was very interesting. The wedding and what it means. See, that gave me inspiration for a poem: "LOST VOWS-"
