From Bee To Thee
From Bee To Thee
In spring and in summer
of each seasonal year,
if you're out and about,
you're likely to hear
the soft busy hum of
my swift tiny wings.
As I doggedly work,
my buzz ever sings.
From flower to flower,
with purpose and grace,
I visit each blossom
to kiss its sweet face.
I gather up samples
of nectar so fine,
to make my rendition of
fruit of the vine.
Then back to my hive
will I carry my wares,
where my many co-workers
then greet me with theirs.
Production commences
in secret, it's true...
a process complex
that is known to but few.
Delectable honey
is what we provide,
a thick, golden sweetness,
to humans worldwide.
So in spring and in summer,
when blossoms are fair,
you'll hear my sweet buzzing
and know why I am there.
