Short story. Get it Correct. Our Children!

Get it correct!

We as humans are always dying to know, what’s on the mind of others.

Like an instant replay of our younger days, being with our brothers, sisters and friends. We easily knew when they were happy; we predicted when they would be sad. We were the perfect substitute. What do you think is in our minds now?

We have already learned that to get the best results in discipline, pertaining to things that are living, we must always learn to start from the roots.

Never wait until the are already grown, got hardened and matured, especially when we are speaking about children and when we need to start teaching them the truth. Bend those branches while they’re young.

This should not sound strange to you, but it should be a familiar sound.

These are the things great parents would teach their children.

Those invaluable lessons, for the upcoming times when their children’s time

Is finally reached.

Parents should always want what’s best for their kids. I am now having a very difficult time understanding why so many of our kids appear to have no great sense of direction.

They’re not showing any of that true love and respect.

They are not doing great in school, not good around the house, not voluntarily helpful in any way, and even when ask they are always busy.

But they are real great getting dressed up, going to parties, looking at T V. And speaking on the phone, to everybody.

Can you tell me how in the name of heaven, they will ever face this life on their own! Can’t our parents see this?

Our kids are like a band of weary soldiers who have suddenly lost their way,

Because those who were in charge died and went away.

Now there’s no one in command, they did not learn a thing when he was around, now it’s only a matter of time, before they all go down.

See the values and discipline for this life that the great parents have shown.

The children were too busy, they learnt nothing, took none, now scrambling because they can’t face it being their own.

Get it correct!

Bless.

Thanks for reading and commenting romari. Yes the great liberated kids are the ones that will look at the struggles of their parents and make up their minds instead of looking at their peers.

The great kids are born and shaped with their parents as the foundation.

Thanks again romari.

Thanks so much for reading and such an insightful comment

GClark. Yes and they will usually need a soft place to land and the great thing about it, is even then, they would still want the insurance, of having their parents at the landing zone.

I sometimes wonder how it feels to have the most beautiful entity in this world "parents" and for the most minute of sacrifices, you are guaranteed "Love" in it's purest form and still the path taken , have folks like the psychologist you are referring to , wanting to freely give them wings and a soft landing spot.

Bend the tree , while it's branches are still young.

Thanks again GClark reading and commenting . I look forward to visiting your site real soon .

Bless.

Good hub with sentiments I totally agree with. Dennis Waitley, a well-known psychologist to the astronauts, has some wonderful thoughts on raising children where he indicates that he wants to provide wings for them along with a soft place to fall when needed. Both thoughts really are talking about encouraging them to grow. Thanks for sharing. GClark

Thank you very much North Wind .

There are many ways of saying the same thing all rolling into one meaning, one truth. You have said this so uniquely truthful , that I would let it be the way that also represents me this moment. Thanks!

"A vine pointed in a straight direction will only grow straight but left unto itself it will be wild and encroach on other trees and shrubs."

Love it!

Again I agree. I heard somewhere that seven is the age of understanding and as you said, just as you would with a tree, one must train up a child in the way they should grow.

A vine pointed in a straight direction will only grow straight but left unto itself it will be wild and encroach on other trees and shrubs.
