A Glutton For Green
The first showers come and it’s as though a wizard with myriad shades of green on his magical palette flies by, touching everything he sees to create a green wonderland. How do you describe each shade? Can you really find a name for each and every one of them ranging from the subtlest tinge to a rich, dark hue? All you can do is to look, enjoy, wallow and drink it all in.
Green turns me on. Green fills me up and makes me whole. It’s almost as though summer were made just for this. The heat that builds up makes you thirsty for what you know is going to come. And when it does, it explodes into your vision and your soul, quenching and making you so alive. And your favourite poems bubble up from somewhere deep within to pay homage to the scene that unfolds before you.
