~HApPy FaThEr'S DAy To Me~

~Prologue~

This poem is about being a single parent and overcoming obstacles along the way...

~HApPy FAtHeR's DAy To Me~

Mother, Father, both parents then friend

its like writing script on an emotional bend

no beginning nor end, journaling through time

with a catastrophic pen

every stroke channeling through turbulent winds

shattering our thoughts, fumbling our hearts

bountifully, briskfully recreating lifes art

embracing every struggle learned and dispenced

though time had erupted and new life commenced

this journey through unforseen territory is adding landscapes and broadening my story

every teardrop bringing forth dauntless glory, every struggle unknown embarks on new catagories

though heaven overturned the bowels of hell rendering new and wonderful stories to tell

this journey has definitely been quite unique, so today I say, happy fathers day to me

Nice! Through all the trials and challenges, I love the perspective you see especially 'EVERY TEARDROP BRINGING FORTH DAUNTLESS GLORY'. There are probably many mums who should be given happy Father's Day cards today. Russ

As a son raised by a single mother I overstand your poem and I appreciate the emotional journey. I might add, I wouldn't have had my upbringing any other way. I love my Mother, now passed on and I say, Happy Father's Day Momma...
