~He Heard You~
"PROLOGUE"
Just when you think hes not listening, surprise, surprise, surprise...
"HE HEARD YOU"
It was cold on the floor, but you got down there anyway,
pulled your blanket above your head and begin to pray.
I know God must have been tickled at the sight of you shivering down there,
but believe me when I say, He still heard your prayer.
Right before you kneeled down in your little quiet space, He was already examining your case,
just when you thought maybe He wouldn't hear, He whispered to you softly in your ear.
Right before you cried and your wife walked in, he reminded you, you were as important to him, and as strong as other men.
Just before you could ask, "LORD why me?" He leaned down and gently brushed against your cheek.
Before you begin to think, "Is this really happening to me!" He shuffled your position so you could clearly see, the awesome abundance of His generosity.
A home, family, and plenty of friends, what more could you ask for but the mind of Christ, nothing else was needed in this life.
As you humbly opened your heart and let Him in, braced both feet against the door not to be interrupted by your wife again, God chuckled as he begin to exclaim.
everything that went before you is no more, it was already set aside, before you could open the door.
Everything that burdened your spirit and robbed you of peace, give it over to me, you have already been releasd, all the things in life that once held you bound, I have set aside and renewed your crown.
I want you to remember you walk in spirit not sight, I am your glory, strength and your unyielding light.
It is in my will alone that your spirit will soar, and I am the only one who holds the key to that door.
Just when you thought He didn't care, he belted you with your own senseless prayer. One of the things I like about him best, he knows how to clean up a mess.
Though I'm still amazed and shocked at some of the things he does, I wanted you to know, he heard you, just because.
