Haiku, After the storm

Behind a hazy view

On a cloudy day

Sunshine waiting patiently

Behind hazy view

*********************************

Overcast shadow

Thunder rumbling overhead

Precipitation

**************************************

Clouds separating

Sunshine peeking discreetly

Delightful surprise!

Mom asked me if I had read this yet. I see she (Breen) mentioned the song. I remember learning it in school. I am always happy when the storm has cleared. It's a lovely haiku.

These Haiku are lovely. It is surpisingly difficult to restrict oneself to the syllable count - but I like the way it makes you really condense your thoughts into just a few words. I wrote one the other day after viewing the lovely animation that goes with Emeliana Torrini's 'Sunny Road': Wolf follows quietly / River gushes hopefully / Joy in this parting. Beautiful hub! Voted up!

A lovely haiku, Ruby, and the perfect video/song to accompany it. Why do I feel as if that tune is familiar? I know I've heard it before. Oh, yes, from my Funny Pun - Number Seven." It works here, too, m'dear.
