Haiku for Hannah's First Day of School

A great Hannah moment.

Pine cones release seeds

to float upon each light wave

a destination

Someday germinate

a knowledge of greater life

blissful habitant

as new seeds soon float

yet another destiny

I wave goodbye

As new forest grow

an evergreen family

a trees diverse branch

the ground rejoices

with the sun, with the moon

not still, yet moving

Love these haikus, Jamie. The seed of knowledge that grows and grows (and the children who grow too). Don't they grow too fast though?!

Beautiful words for a beautiful girl; she looks a real cutie.

What a sweet child. I love your reference to seeds and knowledge. May she grow to be a strong woman of wisdom.
