Ode to Humanity, From the Ghost of Tesla

Dawning of Time
Dawning of Time
mysteries as masking snows
mysteries as masking snows
wisdom of the ages
wisdom of the ages
self-imposed jungle
self-imposed jungle
seeds of hope
seeds of hope
flower of hope
flower of hope
one blade of grass, the start of a thousand
one blade of grass, the start of a thousand
eager flowers reach for the sun
eager flowers reach for the sun
empowering our tomorrows
empowering our tomorrows

To Humanity, my best, I send,

from my memories of the past,

My devotion to give, of all yesterdays,

and this to be my last.

Reflections in the pools of minds,

exciting thoughts, collected,

A benefiting, a sharing, of kinds,

that seem, too often, rejected.

My acts, an "electric igniter",

a sparking plug, a restart of all man,

In radio, the vacuum tube,

I send rays of hope, where it all began.

An electric charge that amplifies,

in transmitting messages to Mars,

A new communication, such innovation,

in raising all the bars.

A kick start to intelligence, seen,

is to inventiveness, as wireless electricity,

The engines to propel, the concepts to sail,

beyond all life, in its vast circuitry.

There are no limits to be set, for our minds,

in their showing, a greatest revelation,

The relativity of all, is a matter of fact,

to be a removal of humanistic abrogation.

My hat's off to the future of traveling,

communication, and for this world, a peace,

My spirit's restless and so requires my work,

and for my soul, now to be released.

Please accept my recognition, and as always,

it's to be my greatest conviction,

The universal needs of man, will find a way,

within each heart, there's very little restriction.

As eager flowers await, in their anticipation

upturned, their faces, all to raise,

The human race, in its state of grace,

is then, ultimately, left to appraise.

I lift my glass, in my grandest salute,

in hopes for each, a sanity,

I bid adieu to all of my kind,

for a happier world, to see.

Have you ever wondered who was responsible for much of today's technology and brought us humans out of our caves?

Amen.

Great hub.

“The universal needs of man, will find a way,

So very true; if only we could all realize this. :-)

I liked this poem…very much.

Who, the more I read, the more I wonder, 'who are you?'. I took a gander at your profile page before commenting and there's nothing there that gives a hint as to the depth of your soul. Well, yeah, there kinda is, but not to these depths.

You are an amazing man with an amazing soul that pours forth through your pen. I would love to know more about you!

Bravewarrior, thank you from the bottom of my heart, for your fine appraisal of my work. I write under the pen name of who, because I want to remain anonymous. I am from southern climes and when I speak, one may well know that I am. I try to represent the finest of southern charm and reverence for all. My goal is to share in my knowledge and love of the life I am a part of, in the best way that I know how to do..my writing and art. Much appreciative of your kindness.who
