Happy Birthday Little One.
The light in my day, every day.
I am a granny bore.
Little did I realise when my son was born that he would give me the most precious gift in life, a grandson. It is as nothing has happened in my life before Callum was born, and I am now the worlds greatest granny bore. I live for the day's to see his smile, and hear his laughter as he learns more about his life and the people surrounding him. I rush if he tumbles, not good for an old back. And wipe his tears and make him laugh. But, most of all, and of which I am so proud, I can say now clearly that he is my life.
What a cake.

Callum's First Birthday
Happy Birthday little one,
another year older, another year gone.
It was as if only yesterday,
that you were born and came my way.
My darling boy, with eyes so blue,
has nanny told you recently, how much she loves you?
When you were born, my life started to shine,
to hold you as a bundle of joy in those arms of mine.
To trace that smile, so innocent and calm,
to kiss your face, so sweet and warm.
You are my inspiration, it is true
nothing compares to the wonder of you.
I thank God each day, for I am blessed,
with the sweetest child, who is never stressed.
You are an angel through and through,
I can never take my eyes off you.
You are my kin, it is true
and the beauty and trust radiates in you,
you tug my heartstrings to make me dance,
to the sound of your cry, at every chance.
My grandson, my angel, my true heart of gold,
to nanny you will never grow old.
In your smile, I always see stars,
twinkling with love from the night sky, so far.
You are so precious as to make me smile,
no one will ever stop me from running those miles,
to sit upon my rocking chair with you,
and smell all that is you, in my view.
Happy 1st birthday my dear sweet boy. Whatever befalls you, your nanny loves you.
Daddy you are just too old.
