Having Good Times

They were both divorced

Returning to the good times

Of night life and searching

Maggie and Abby

Just two women

In their thirties

Realizing that love

Had betrayed them

Wondering how to begin again

Maggie married her high school sweetheart

Who turned out loved everyone

Everyone but her

Abby learned that love

During the university years

Can be quite delightful

But that it’s all just for fun

So here they were

Together again

Hoping to find love

That would last them a lifetime

Wondering how to find the right men

They soon discovered

That the bars were full

Of low-life’s and flirts

Men looking for one night stands

They made the nightclub scene

Finding lots of professionals

Bored with their families

Looking for some nighttime joy

And so it went for them

It was like looking for love

In all the wrong places

Among lying faces

Finally Maggie and Abby

Came to one conclusion

They’d enjoy themselves

Dancing and having some fun

Never taking things too seriously

At least not for awhile

Hoping that one day

Two Prince Charmings

Would come riding along

On white chargers

To whisk them away from it all

Wishing Maggie and Abby the best of luck. Glad they will have fun together. Will be curious to know if they find those princes they are looking for.

They say there is a Prince Charming out there for all of us. I know I found my Princess Charming, so anything is possible, right? :)

love finds you when you least expect it and usually when you're not looking. Maggie and Abby have the right idea. Enjoy life and see what happens.

There are so many women out there just like Maggie and Abby. I say, " Don't rush it. " It will happen when the right one comes along..

Very nice. This time you left out the amazing endings. Still, very real and true-to-life kind of story.

Sigh. The eternal search. It's a sad reality, Rasma.

Tell Abby and Maggie there are still a lot of prince charmings out there... Nice poem. Simple and honest.

Happy Friday to all of you.

When things go wrong it's always good to just have some fun Kim.

Absolutely Bill.

Totally Shauna. No reason to sit back and cry.

Something to consider Demas.

So true Ruby. Rushing things never accomplished anything good.

Perhaps I'll come up with a part two Eric.

Thank you Manatita.

You welcome Jamie.

Thank you Cris.

Unfortunately it is Michelle.

Thank you wings2.
