Heavenly Exchange~Poem
Heavenly Exchange
Little flutters felt from within,
Essence of Inner peace.
Surrounded with tranquility,
Butterflies dwell.
The truest love,
One you’ll soon meet.
Admiration of vast comfort,
Now two souls’ content.
By way of euphoric bliss,
Fearful tears fall.
The greatest blessing,
To you God has sent.
Environs tend to fade away,
Devotion is vastly divine.
Touch warm and tender,
Sound is so sweet,
Love instantly shines,
Welcome little miracle of mine.

Afterthoughts...
I believe it’s fair to say that every little girl role plays as a mother. Starting at very young ages both boys and girls pretend to be a mother, a father or a caregiver of some sort. Whether it be with baby dolls, stuffed animals and even real pets, we have all at one point or another been curious about nurturing and caring for another individual.
As a mother of two, I knew that I always wanted children. It took me over 2 years to get pregnant with my daughter after a miscarriage 6 years earlier. Then, when she was 9 months old I was blessed once again. Eighteen months after giving birth to her I had my son. Ready or not, it doesn’t matter. It’s all in God’s timing not ours.
It’s mystifying how and why things work the way that they do. I believe there are good reasons why sometimes we must wait on the things we want the most, loose the things we love very dearly and encounter others that we never even thought we could. There is no greater blessing in this world than having the opportunity to be a parent. No matter what the circumstances surrounding this magical learning process are, it will forever be the most superior love ever known.
If you have had this experience than you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you are waiting for your time of blessing, you will one day know how it feels. If you aren’t able to bear witness to this life changing event please know that you are not alone. There is a reason for which we may never know but in its own unforeseen way is also a blessing. Please don’t give up on learning as much as you can about the feelings that go along with a mother or fathers love. This part of life also should be known by all, even you.
We all want to learn more about others and we’re curious as to what’s happening in their life. How they handle their emotions and the way they describe their biggest accomplishment is intriguing to us. I hope this poem helps everyone who has, hasn’t, can’t or will be a parent.
