Her Love Entered, Only To Stab my Soul With an Ineffable Joy.
Sometimes my Beloved simply enters,
Like a long lost guest which I’m so eager to see,
And yet, I did not call.
She brings with Her, the Love of ancient memories …
The sort I need badly, and yet, somehow,
I had forgotten along the journey.
It is then that I open my Heart’s Door,
Like a receptive Palace,
While she fills it with trinkets, rays of golden Light,
And the music of her most delightful lute.
Grace, most adorable and amazing Grace!
The magic of this Lover’s sweetness melts my core,
Her Delight permeating my entire frame,
Like the essential oxygen of intra-arterial blood.
My Heart then heaves, like a spouting fountain,
Its portals assimilating the awe of an ambrosial stillness,
Cascading downwards, only to stab my Soul with an ineffable Joy.
