Here I Sit
Here I Sit
By Tony DeLorger © 2011
I sit at the edge of understanding,
peering down through the mist of confusion.
My questions tainted by my ignorant expectations,
and the blame I embrace for the harshness of learning.
Here I shall sit until failure realises its intention,
and I the understanding of its process.
However dark the pain of loss,
the light of truth prevails.
I sit at the edge of knowledge,
peering into the void of denial.
My fears triggered by my past failures,
haunt my conscious mind and create doubt.
Here I shall sit until I am unencumbered,
released from my own bondage.
However dark my fears restrict,
I can find freedom in truth.
I sit at the edge of choice,
peering into my weakened heart.
My potential alive and begging release,
offers faith and a path of freedom.
Here I shall sit until I know,
that limitations bare a gift of learning.
However daunting the task,
freedom and success awaits my decision.
