Hidden Victory

Source

Fight to the end

That being told

Never stop

Never pretend

Don't ever with hold

You will find your glory

Nobody can take

Hold of your spirit

Through the dark

Through the rage

You will shine

Don't ever be afraid

The chaos

The madness

It is all just show

A game

A tragedy

To never take hold

He may think he has won

The victory is hidden

He may see defeat

But you have finally risen

There are some defeats more triumphant than victories. - Michel De Montaigne

Hi Caroline,

"Never pretend

Don't ever with hold

You will find your glory"

Never give up on your beliefs. Don't let others take them away from you.

Thank you Sueswan. :)

caroline, You've exquisitely balanced never withholding personal glory with not allowing tragedy to take hold. Such is the essence of grace. Tragedy is external, while glory is internal.

Appreciatively, Stessily

I find this poem truly amazing and when reading it, I sat a bit straighter in my seat. Finding victory in defeat - how true and how well written.
