Shattered Diamond.
Lost Angel
Turn a new trick
She reaches to pick up
a hand full of dimes
and prays that none of
her family can see
her crimes.
Strolls through the concrete jungle
and beads of time.
Night by night,
paid favors to her guest delight.
Fulfilling their lust laden,
animalistic dreams,
While deaf heaven turns nigh
to her bootless screams.
Unceremoniously and brutally raped
she leans hard against the leprous wall,
bleeding.
Under tongue she cries, brooding,
and bewails the wounds of fate,
silently pleading,
Turn this misery into an
orphaned child and cast it down
the river Lethe with a soulless smile.
Leave me blue, but love me true.
She kneed, stands alone praying,
but that goes without saying.
Yellow mini-skirt and tank tops torn,
is all she can afford.
While her fellow man insouciantly
passes her front door.
She saves her riches
for her new home with a delightful decor.
Tapestries in gold, drapes in green,
accent colors bursting at the seam.
Tongue tales spoken
for her childhood dream.
To walk upright, mindful, and serene
and find a lover devoid of extreme.
