Hope and Prayer, an Acrostic from the Heart

Hopes springs eternal from the spirit.
Hopes springs eternal from the spirit.
Enter the welcoming gait to happiness
Enter the welcoming gait to happiness
the flowers of our hearts
the flowers of our hearts
Rejoice in the beauty of our lives
Rejoice in the beauty of our lives
Feel the warmth on your sunbathed face.
Feel the warmth on your sunbathed face.
Accept the joys of life each day.
Accept the joys of life each day.
Feel secure as darkness falls.
Feel secure as darkness falls.

Hope and Prayer

Hope..hope springs eternal from the human spirit,

Open our eyes, ears, and hearts to what hope may bring us all.

Perform the tasks daily, that bring about happiness,

Establish respect of others and love for the great and small.

Hope heals the hurting heart and mends the worrying mind.

Only trust may bring us joy and bridge the gaps of fear.

People caring and sharing for people, is the only righteous way,

Enter the realm of spirituality, to hold your loved ones near.

Prayer.. pray for the weak, wicked, and wellness of others,

Rejoice in the goodness of our sisters and our brothers.

Answer the call when we see that which is so much needed,

Yes..we can help and change the challenges, to be exceeded.

Excellence is the goal that we shall strive for, and our plan,

Resilience is the results, of our habits and our strong stand.

Placing others before ourselves, is always the only way,

Remembering our vows and promises, in what we do and say.,

Act in best interests, of the needy, and those so weak,

You can make a difference, in the better lives, all seek.

Enter in the sanctuary, of welcoming arms, that good does bring,

Read happiness and contentment, in the face and songs we sing.

This is an inspiring poem and great imagery also, is there really any flower more beautiful than the sunflower in full bloom?

There is peace and tranquility about the whole hub which is very appealing and uplifting... voted up!

This is a beautiful poem, Whonu. The last photo captures it all perfectly. I always think of God when the sun's rays peek through the clouds.

An inspirational and affirming poem. We do need to stand strong and we can do this when we trust in God. Loved the photos, too.

These are good ways in which to live. If we can do these simple things, our lives will be much happier, we will feel better, and our lives will reflect upon that.

I agree my friend, and would not it be wonderful, if everyone gave it a try?
