How did it happen

Can u believe that the small girl is the big lady. What happen and how did it happen?

Born and abandoned in the street of Nairobi, toiled the dark to survive, walked miles to keep body and soul together, a tiny 6yers old alone in the dark but was able to tremble upon the cobras underfoot.

What do i give thee o Lord for thy love
For bringing me out of the abyss of darkness
You protected me with your rod and staff
You made me what i am today
What would i do without you
Why do u love me this much
Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus
I cannot stop praising you

My story is filled with grief but like the wise say, the end justifies the means,my parents abandoned me at a very tender age, there was no love and care for me and the only solace was food picked at the gutters of almost all the street in Nairobi then one day i came across this charity function, i only wanted something to eat and something to drink. The Reverend sister took me in and gave me a plate of meat not food then a big packet of orange juice, i had never entered a classroom but i read the name FIVE ALIVE.

That was how i got life and became alive. She knew my plight and was eager to help me, they were into giving homes to street and vulnerable kids and i was both so i got a home in one of their centers and that was how i was discovered. I was good at everything, very active and bold, so Rev Simon decided to adopt me. He did and by the next three years i was living in Brooklyn.

And today a practicing surgeon... What a mighty God we serve?

We are what we are meant to be in this life. Some of us have a more difficult time achieving our destinations. And not every soul is meant to beat those odds.

It is always heartwarming to hear this kind of triumph over the odds stacked against us.

Thanks for sharing this inspirational story.
