How small my mind. How endless the truth.

By Tony DeLorger © 2012

Within life we find enigmas,

bleeding from every consideration,

unanswerable and frustrating

in their cloaked and seeming resistance.

Once clawed out of one hole of iniquitous irresolution,

it is not long before we fall into yet another,

just as complex, as dark and misleading

and ultimately without conclusion.

The mysteries with which we are faced,

are often beyond capability,

origins, infinity and the concept of God but a few.

In our puerile search for truth,

we focus on the mechanics, the equations

that will tie existence up in a neat package.

But logic and assumption take us to the periphery of truth at best,

deliver us to the realm of possibility and no more.

Truth lies somewhere between science and spirituality,

with concepts and perspectives that beg us to expand our awareness,

seeking to uplift our potential into the inner voice of souls,

that part of us that is divine in state and connected to the stream of life.

I believe most answers lie within, on all levels,

and it is our awareness and openness that will deliver the truth,

the purpose and direction of our kind,

and the harmony that was meant for life on this tiny planet.

So much to discover, so little time.
