I Could Love You Forever

I Could Love You Forever

I sat & watched the rain,

in the company of his heart,

and though hard to explain,

I suddenly fell apart,

He slept so silent,

I beside his soul,

I tried be quiet,

lock my tears in a black hole,

He did not know, or will he ever?

That at that moment I'd lay with him forever,

My heart it played like an aching drum,

Loving you so strong it simply makes me numb,

I worshipped his bare skin & held it to mine,

Wrapped my heart around him, our bodies in-twinned,

I kissed him, tears soaked his soft skin,

He did not notice,I hoped he did within,

He slept, he slept, and had not a clue..

So my heart, soul and lips whispered the words "I Love You "

....so pure and tender are your words my poetic princess - you truly write from that beautiful heart of yours - and in a style much like mine - you write with a simplicity and economy in your words but there is so much depth and that is what makes you profound as a writer!

And he seemed not to be aware of the intensity of your love. Hmmm. Guess what? Keep doing this and I'll dedicate a hub-poem to you.
