I Feel Like Writing Again..........

Most of a life of quiet somber solitude
I must feel like writing it all down

All the times I wanted to scream out in pain
in fury in yearning on my own

The years I sat silently by the edge watching a living
river and dying of thirst

The thousand smiles and invitations of
chance lost from the first

Yearnings of my own dreams questions
of all the missing years

Why so many days alone inside
why the unpredictable tears

For a man there seemed to be too many
unfullfilled destinations

Born in a place half way old ......
too complicated an orchestration

Wanderlusts and hatreds......bitter tastes.......
go ahead ...write it all down

In the end ....... just another lost puzzle piece
dying to be found

Write it all down........Write it all down

Ahorseback,

If we don't write it all down we tend to either forget it or lose the importance of the moment.

Great piece!

Don't worry too much about missed chances. You can't pursue them all, no one has that kind of time.

And I think from all the feelings in your work, you've already lived a very full life, even if you think it was from the sidelines. There's nothing wrong with that.

God bless you brother man.

Let's climb another wall.

And let's see, if Micky Dee,

Can cough up another hair-ball.

Write it down.

We're looking from another side.

We may as well tell it,

As to keep it all inside.

"The years I sat silently by the edge watching a living river and dying of thirst" express the poignancy of that moment when one recalls the lost past.I love how the poem manages to convey the calm acceptance of what life has dealt us with.Written with great beauty and soul.
