I Have Grown - Poetry

I have grown.

I continue to climb and grow!
I continue to climb and grow! | Source

Through the years, and tears I've sewn,

My heart and mind, and soul have grown.

I've put aside my childish ways,

And now embrace these wiser days.

So much more there is to see,

So much more to make of me.

As I learn, the more I know,

There's so much farther I must go.

I will climb till I reach the sky,

For when I stop learning, is the day that I die.

You are never too old to learn something new. Learning is part of life, when learning stops, one becomes stagnant and dies.

Thank you once again Leptirela. I agree that words are very powerful, thus we must choose them wisely.

Living and learning go hand in hand and I hope that I learn something new each day of my life.

This rhyme and brilliant piece is symbolic with embracing each day to it's fullest. We tend to grow through struggles in our lives and often find our way out of our past.

I admire our strengths and moving forward with each new day. Bravo, well done. I like what our Epi man observed " Stark Poetic Simplicity" I agree.

Such kind words and glowing praise, saddlerider1. I am not sure I am deserving of such, from yourself or Epi, but I very much appreciate it.
