I Love Those Air Conditoners

They Are So Cool

Ever since I was small I hated the heat

When I was little we use to put up a sheet

To keep the cool air in our bedroom

It was fun

The room got so nice it was cold

We use to joke

Funny how the littlest things are so much fun

Outside I remember how hot it can get

Where the sweat would pour off my forehead drip on my chest

Now many years later after a long hot day

There is nothing better than relaxing in a cool home

Sleeping so comfortable at night

During the day outside where it's 98 pushing 100

Children everywhere looking to go jump in the water

A neighbors pool or the beach

Sometimes the water is cold when you first go in

Then your body adjusts to the temperature nicely

You want to stay in the water and swim

Having so much fun just being a kid

Air conditioning is a great invention for those very hot days! I like sunny warm weather with a nice breeze :-)

I am one of those people who absolutely loves the hot weather and when it's cold out I'm miserable. Of course it's great to cool off in hot weather and take a swim.

I liked your poem ! I never liked air conditioners as they were noisy but when we were in the top of Australia in 44 degrees I had it on 24/7 + 2 fans !

I don't like air conditioners, never did because we didn't have one and fresh air has always been my first choice but do understand your point of view.
