I Paid for You to Die

I Paid for You to Die

I paid for you to die

I'm not at fault, I'm not to blame

I do my job, I pay my dues

I have more rights than you

I don't believe in genocide

I didn't drop the bombs

I need gas to survive

I didn't decide your fate

I'm just like everyone else

I'm no one special

I can't stop this war

I didn't drop the bombs

I pay all my taxes

I obey all the laws

I paid for you to die

I see the media games

I hear the lies they say

I'm not at fault, I'm not to blame

I can't control their words

I know its for greed

I do my job, I pay my dues

I have more rights than your

I paid for you to die

I'm sure you understand why

I'm not at fault, I'm not to blame

This was a great poem on the war. At the beginning it was comical and suggested a murder of some kind which really impacted when I realized that person is me. :) Please read some of my poetry when you can.
