I Sit As My Day Disappears

To Miss Only Makes Us Love More

in a world where we can go and do almost anything

I sit still and watch as my day passes

My thoughts are traveling as far as any plane can travel

To understand life is to be confused

To be content even though we always want more

Listening like we forgot how to talk

Learning things that only a child knows

To be innocent and happy in the inside

Looking at each day as new and a gift that keeps giving

Feeling free to love all there is to love

It is only when we grow old we forget the knowledge we have aquired

We took years to learn and many friendships that guided us to the land of plenty

To see everything we have now gone

Makes us long for life and free us of this world

Where we will be untouched by any sadness or disappointment

For life exsists in the minds of anyone who thinks

The impossible is possible probable and true

Whew, Dream On, that was so touching and good. Those last few lines really got me. I work with old people and they forget alot but ' the impossible is possible'. Loved it.

Dee42 If it wasn't for all our grandparents and parents who made the tough times look easy I know I wouldn't be who I am today. They are the sweetest souls I know.Thanx for reading and helping old people.I use to work as a homemaker and helped the elderly with chores around the house.I could listen to them talk all day and then I had to go to my other job and see a whole different world.Where all they cared about is themselves and their shallow world. Now the people I knew have all passed away but their memories I carry with me every day.The love for life and they were happy just to get up in the morning and have something good to eat.How simple life looks and how wonderful it is to be alive and share the loves that we all desire.I hope you had an awesome night even though it just turned midnight.Another day has just begun.
