I am, Mother, I am ...
A Dedication to my Mother on Her 2nd Death Anniversary
I am your Sky, Mother, I am Your Sky.
I am Your vast blue ocean of Sky.
I am Your glowing Moon, Mother true.
My golden orb and iridescent lustre, all for You.
Mother, I am Your twinkling Stars, You play
And dance with me, across the firmament
Of distant galaxies.
I am you Sun, Mother; I am your Sun,
From the celestial spheres my warmth descends,
Singing Your song of Summer; giving joy
To many a noble and searching heart.
I nourish fields and gladden the meadows,
As they dance to Your zephyrs, and listen
To the cadences of the larks in flight.
I am Your Child, Mother, I am Your Child.
My breath in You, evokes
Your spirit of sacrifice and matchless love.
I am Your Wife divine, o Mother of Truth.
I stir in others, Your infinite beauty, charm and poise
To ever-transcending horizons.
I am Your Religions, o Mother sweet,
So many branches, seemingly humming a different tune,
Yet eventually coming home to Thee.
I am Your green pastures; the heavenly nymphs
That stir splendour and magnificence within the Soul,
Mother, I am Your arid smoke; Your pain in my adversity,
And Your sorrows which sow the golden fruits of my tomorrows.
Mother, I am Your All. Bathe me in Your Love-Delight,
And remind me of my Eternal Home. – Manatita 10th August, 2013. Copyrighted
