For I am only an Earthling - Poem

Could this be me someday soon?

Pondering Thoughts on Earth

I am an Earthling

Tiny bones

the smallest Mouth

Eating isn't my best attribute

For some odd reason

Living just getting by is

I am an Earthling

What I am isn't simple

How I live isn't fair

Where I reside isn't comfy

Who I truly am

is something to repeatedly declare

I am an Earthling

who cares

Who loves all

who knows very little

but swears I know all

compared to the vastness

of eternity and the unknown beyond Earths wondrous Airs I know nothing

For I am a compassionate being

who searches

and quests for answers

achieves very little myself

but my tools, boy do they go there

Breaking the boundaries of my physical weaknesses

both creatively & destructively defying the odds

gravity and all I do declare

What I am is also creation

& the ultimate creation made me to see things

so fine tuned & at times not very clear

For I am small a gentle Lady

And bug

is my last name so you all better beware

Mr. Bug, I'll be watching out for you, because I want to become a butterfly. If I see you invading my garden I might munch on you.

Great poem and you on a roll here. Voted up and awesome, Joyce.

I'm looking forward to more of your poetry.

Hello @writer20, this bug is not no ordinary Lady, shes dangerous and can tear up your garden any day, becuase bug repellant doesn't work against her, nor pollutants of any kind, lol.

Don't fear though she's friendly and asks permission to enter so she can feed, an may even work for her share. Hehe!

Thanks for the awesome comment and for sharing with me.

Hey, @BRIAN SLATER, I just love writing from within, this is my true personality that is brought to the page. I've always been a emotional person since I were a child, and the most predominant emotion I had in me was love.

Thus I have learn to restore that part of the inner me, and reach outward with it on hubpages, and in much of my writings years back as well. Thank you for pointing that fact out. I do it in hopes that others worldwide, could someday potentially follow such a wonderful trend to be set.

Thanks man, for being such a cool guy, and for lending me your truthful response as well as insightful words, I truly appreciate you being a good friend, and kind person towards me.

iamaudraleigh, you know how we do, everywhere we touch down on we can be regarded as Bug's, LOL. We crawl, we fly, we live freely in these online skies, and bugging out is our specialty at times.

The funny thing is, life is just this simple, and to be free is who this man wants to be above the earthly sky.

Cheers, to us little hub bug's

Your friendly neighborhood Cloud Explorer........

@Golfgal, thanks for bearing witness to my cutest poetic formulations, I try from time to time to play with the tensile stresses of terminology, and at times something like this gets coughed out of my proverbial thought box, just by chance.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I will meet you some day in your comment heaven as well. See you soon, oh and its nice to have met you digitally for sure.

Hey @Highvoltagewriter, I for some odd reason got motivated to spark up some cool poems stemming from natures corridor, and this is just a start for me on hubpages.

I figured its time to unleash that good ole "Natural", you know that thing many of us have sleeping in us so dormant and in disguise I guess. I've read so many other peoples nature inspired poems and also thought well its just time for me to catch up and stop slacking, you know.

Thanks for showing and for all the hubloving support ladies, lets see if it can attract them gentle men too, I hope so. Hehe!!!

Exceptional presentation here. Your poetry along with the video is a perfect marriage. I consider myself an "earth child" wandering among the family of trees in my area...even stopping to hug one now and then. Thank you for giving me the perfect start to my day. Voted up, awesome and beautiful.

Yes indeed @Vinaya Ghimire, deep is a good word to define all the hidden sublimes.

You're very much welcome @vocalcoach, I'm so happy you found my hub here to be so entertaining to you, and has helped make your day a tad bit better.

I wasn't even sure where it was all going from the start until it became a bright idea to turn myself into that awesome ladybug & totally personified.

Also thanks for sharing and for leaving me such a wonderful insightful comment.

You put a lot of feeling into to that beautiful epic poem.

Thanks @flashmakeit for showing, I miss my mother she passed away with breast cancer a while back, and she helped me embrace nature in ways I couldn't have done alone, years back when I was a kid so this one was for her.

A wonderful poem Mike! Hat's off to the poet in you! This new side of yours opens new doors to your hidden skills

Indeed, you write from within and the inner soul reflects in your words!

loved your poem!

up and shared!

Mike this was graphically beautifully. I loved your imagery of the lady bug, I love lady bugs. Nature is man's best friend when we let it be. Yet man is destroying our beautiful earth and everything on it has to beware, even the little lady bug friend. Well done Mike, I loved it. You are definitely a craftsman in poetry terms. Keep it up your writings are expanding and seeking new depths to all your readers. Bravo.

@rahul0324, me and you both bro, poetry has been my better form of writing for most of my youth, and adult life, but on the web it gets very little traction, and so I must refrain from its usage to much, but once in a while i get the bug again to do it.

Thanks for sharing with me as we've been doing most recently, your new found friend and pal Cloud Explorer aka Mike Pugh.

Hey there @Vincent Moore, thanks for the kind words you just wrote for me there. I was just playing around with words again, and this just happen to land here onto the page, lol.

It is weird though, how you can start out with one idea, and end up with something entirely different, but at times may be perceived as quite unique by others who view it all, unknowing what you were thinking prior to completion. Go Figure right!
