Have we met?

Or have we not?

Is it you I'll get?

of life

I'm waiting/looking/debating

if you're there

someone who will care

for me

"You" walk into my life, after all this pain and strife, I couldn't have asked for more, yet you're still far away and obscure

Are you the one? Or is God just having fun!!

I want to be , carefree and happy

I want to be in love so deep and complete that I will feel like I'm asleep......

I don't think I've met "him" yet

But when I do, I'll win the bet

God knows I am worthy....

and this love grows

I know it's happening

I don't know when

It could be at a movie

Or while shopping with a friend

Maybe at the beach when I'm not looking his way

He'll capture my gaze and a spark will grow into a flame

I don't really know

But it will be estacy

The day we meet

We'll recognize each other

Like we already met before

And in your eyes I'll see my future

And you will see your children in mine

Together we will walk amidst the flowers

Holding hand in hand

And build a home for "ours"

Who will cultivate the land

Spreading joy and love of God

Through each and every strand

But until that day

I will say to God

"Count me in" for this hand!
