If I Could Start all Over Again -- Poem about Life
- Me, my guitar and you...!
A past twelve midnight inspiration...by listening to a rock song! and the final product came to an end and is delivered... We are sure, it might chase your mind and your own feelings. So beware! - Following-you-to-the-end-of-time
- Finally I Started To Love...
Inspiration about your first love. How things and even essences come to your mind. From those moments treasured for a lifetime. Enjoy!
If I could start all over again
nothing would be the same
I certainly would ride this train of life
Trying to do everything right this time
If I could start all over again
Would talk to my dad... that now is gone
Would take more time with mom
And pay attention to her say
If I could start all over again
Would try this time to figure out God
Who at times seems to be odd
trying to decode his creation
by seeing myself growing and
experience life's temptations
If I could start all over again
Would spend more time with
my little sister
who thought I was her hero
when I used to leave for school
who felt that deep sorrow
When our Cockier died and went over the moon
If I could start all over again
I would look for that bike of mine
that I rode down the shore
taking places where I 've never been before
If I could start all over again
would play again with school pals
no evil thoughts and free
to go here and there
friends the taught me how to have fun out of nothing
making my life more than just exciting
If I could start all over again
Would go back to visit my dearest Granny
Who was there to listen my silly stories
always tightening up my belt
and crying of joy for me... getting taller
If I could start all over again
would search for that girl that didn't mind me
and cause my first heart's pain
would certainly ask her, why she was into older dudes
in blue uniforms, ready to take off.
If I could start all over again
would ask God while praying
Why dad left us with little to survive
why we had to suffer
If I could start all over again
would watch God's creation from a child's eyes
Going right above my roof and look upon that starry sky
Telescope, Yankees cap and mom's apple pie
If I could start all over again
Would write poems for my mom
who was my guidance
my role model in life
dropping a note by her bedside
and silently running away in disguise
If I could start all over again
Would try to understand life as it was
crazy at times, but worth the fun
If I could start all over again
I would be ready to cope with
fear, anger and surprises that life
has been dosing rentlessly to us
If I could start all over again
I would finish reading this inspiration to mom
sure, she will be smiling while fixing my lunch
checking if my clothes were ironed as dad's
If I could start all over again
would definetly follow that butterfly
into heavy rain
If I could start all over again
would thank this creator for giving me this mind
lighting this candlelght in my room
scared at time of uncertain darkness
that came with the night
If I could start all over again
I would do it again
wiping my own tears and thanking God
my life was not in vain....

GIVING... since we are born, we deal with this simple word over and over; the first paragraph that was heard by the author was 'give and you shall receive'. Probably was at church or read or heard about from my parents.
