Ashes to ashes~

I lost you~

My confidant~

My sponsor. ~

No one knows~

The loss I bear~

No one knows my shedding of tears~

Dust to dust~

Flowers~

Columbine and Daisies.

Flowers~

Evening Primrose and Fleabane~

I lost you~

My friend~

My Father~

I think no one knows or cares~

How much you were to me~

How much you nurtured me~

Flowers~

Gentian fringed with blue and Ironweed a pink hue.

Flowers~

Joe-Pye-Weed and Knapweed~

I lost you~

My ally~

My guardian~

Time has gone by but~

I still mourn for you~

How much sorrow my days~

Go through~

Flowers~

Lobelia and Mullein gold.

Flowers~

Orchid and wild blue Phlox~

I lost you~

My advocate~

My mentor~

How I still long for~

Your presence~

My psyche often is reminiscing~

Flowers~

How I still need your attendance~

Without your protection~

Ashes to ashes~

I lost you~

My teacher~

My guide~

The emptiness leaves me~

Hallow at times~

There really are not words~

To describe my thoughts in my mind~

This Hub has more than two links to a single domain and I hope Hubpages allows it, because I thought it would be fun and educational if we could all click on the links to see what the actual flower looks like. If the links in blue to the flowers disappears, than you will know I was not allowed to keep it that way. We will just have to wait and see. Also to correct it will take a lot of work if need be... But personally I think it is kool to have the links in this case. Hope you enjoy! PURE LOVE ,LISA

This was Awesome and Breathtaking! I love flowers as much as you do, but don't know all the names. It is amazing how beautiful the earth is if you just take the time to look and see and smell and breathe. Thank you Lisa for the beautiful finds in the fields for us to learn about. Love your poetry!

CMCastro Thank you so much for stopping by and your wonderful and thoughtful comment. I am up early at 4 in the morning to drive my mother to a surgeon appointment a great distance away, so it was a delight to find you here already this morning...May you have a blessed day!!!

I love the contrast between your loss and the beauty of the flowers that you list. Well written and enjoyable to read. Jamie

Wow, this is so beautiful! I am so inspired by your poetry and the display of flowers through their names. One can learn so much about creation from nature. Blessings.
